Frequently Asked Questions about our Rabbits and Buying a Rabbit
How much do your Rabbits Cost?
I sell my rabbits at the highly competitve price of $10/pound dressed. Want to do some local price comparing? Please do! I've seen some retailers selling FROZEN rabbit at $20/lb! I offer fresh, farm-to-table service for less than you would pay for a lower-quality product!
What kind of payment do you accept?
I currently accept Cash or major credit cards through Paypal only. If not paying cash, please let me know in advance to set up payment through Paypal.
Is there a delivery fee?
We do our best to keep your costs low and do not typically charge a delivery fee within our standard delivery area. We will special deliver outside of our area, please inquire and we will be happy to discuss the best fit for your particular situation if you are not local to the San Francisco Bay Area.
Do you offer bulk/ wholesale prices?
Absolutely! Please contact me and let me know how many rabbits you want to reserve and I'll be happy to make you a deal.
Where do you deliver to?
I deliver all over the San Francisco Bay Area. My standard delivery area is as far north as San Francisco, south to San Jose and Gilroy, as well as Oakland and other parts of the East Bay.
But rabbits are cute :(
We know they are, honestly we do. No one knows better than us as we see them every day. But we feel great about the sustainable and ethical farming that we do to provide a clean, healthy, and delicious product to people who do care about the well being of animals. You can learn more about the ethos of our farm here, as well as the health and environmental benifits to eating rabbit meat here.
What do you do with the rest of the rabbit?
We want to make sure that the rabbits we raise never go to waste. In addition to selling the meat we do our best to make use of the other parts of the animal. We frequently sell pelts, lucky rabbit feet, and bones for craft supplies on our Etsy Shop, EthicalFur. Currently the only part of the animal we have not found a use for is the offal, but we are open to suggestions! Have an idea? Contact us!
